Course Syllabus

        Greetings!! I am Mrs. Sharkey.  I am looking forward to this school year.  I have been at FHS since January 2015 and year 19 teaching in NC schools.  I love doing and teaching math. My goal is to get you to better understand and appreciate it.  In my spare time, I love to read, walk with my husband or go to Planet Fitness, and cook/ bake.  I spent this past summer doing a lot of reading and working concessions at a local swimming pool.  You also will catch me at majority of the home athletic events as a gatekeeper.  Stop by and say, "Hi!"

      My family consists of my wonderful husband, Darryl, which we have been married for 26 years on September 6th and are 3 children plus an Air Force son-in-law.  My eldest daughter, Cameryn,  graduated from NCSU December 2020(Go Wolfpack!!) with a Mechanical Engineering Degree and got married summer 2022.  She works as Sales Tech Engineer for Captiv Aire and currently lives in Ohio.   My second daughter, Addisyn, graduated May 2022 from APP State with a Risk Management and Insurance Degree and a minor in Accounting.  She is a Risk Manager for Captiv Aire and lives here in NC.  My third child is a son, Bryson, who is currently in 10th grade and owns/ operates a lawn care business.  I also can not forget our furry cat Belle Beane who is the Queen of the house.
