Grading Policy: All grading will be on a scale of 100; however, different assessments carry different weights. Letter grades are assigned per school policy. Each 9 weeks’ grade is worth 40% of the overall grade, and the Final Exam at the end of the semester is also worth 20%.
Grade weights per 9 weeks:
Classwork/Homework 25%
Labs/Projects 30%
Tests/Quizzes 45%
Note: Simply adding all of a student’s points together will give a grade that does not reflect the weighted system.
Supplies:
- 3-ring binder (1.5 inches)
- Black/Blue Pens
- College Ruled Notebook paper
