Virtual Office hours: Monday 10:00-11:00 and Wednesday 3:00-4:00 via Google Meetings; students can access links for these hours from either Gmail or their Google Calendar  sent from their teacher(s).  Go to Link and enter the code given in the announcements section of Canvas.

Students will access course information by clicking on Modules (this is on the left side of the Canvas course homepage.  Students will need their student number and password for NCEdcloud.

PARENTS:  Use the following directions to create a Canvas Observer Account

  • Have your student(s) Generate a Pairing Code (this will be different for each student).
  • Go to https://fcschools.instructure.com/login/canvas (bookmark this site so that you can easily access your Observer dashboard for your student(s).
  • Click on Parent of a Canvas User? in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
  • Complete the required information in the window, which will include inputting the student Pairing Code. Multiple students can be added.
  • Go to the Dashboard to see your student(s)' courses.
  • Parents can sign into this account to easily access their student's courses within Canvas.
  • What can parents view as an Observer?

**Update Wednesday 6/3**

Happy Wednesday! Just a reminder that all work is due NO LATER than tomorrow Thursday June 4th! NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED NO EXCEPTIONS!! All work must be turned in by 11:59 PM tomorrow! 

Thanks to each of you that have been working hard! I appreciate you all adapting to this crazy semester!

**Update Thursday 5/28**

Happy Thursday everyone!

Just wanted to first off say I am so proud of our 2020 graduates! Congratulations & best of luck in all of your future endeavors! 

I have graded and provided feedback for all assignments that have been submitted to me so far. I have updated powerschool to reflect what assignments I have received.

Please be reminded that we are in our last few days of work for the school year! The following assignments are due June 3rd:

-5.01/5.04 Notes

-6.01/6.03 Notes

-6.01/6.03 Vocabulary Worksheet

I will not be able to accept any work past June 4th! It is a hard deadline!

**UPDATE MONDAY 5/18**

WE HAVE REACHED THE LAST LEARNING MODULE! YAY!

I have posted the new assignments under the modules section of Canvas (Work 5/18-6/3).

All three of these assignments are due by WEDNESDAY JUNE 3rd!

Good morning class! Happy Tuesday!

This is just a reminder that school is not yet over. Mr. Wright sent home a reminder to parents & students yesterday that it is important students continue to work. Please continue to work on your assignments! This is a reminder that the current assignments are due this FRIDAY 5/15!

**UPDATE Monday 5/4**

Happy Monday class! We are getting closer to the end of the school year! Keep up the hard work. New work for 5/4-5/15 has been posted & is located under modules. Please email me if you have questions. Remember everything must be submitted to Canvas. Virtual office hours are continuing on Mondays 10-11 AM & Wednesdays 3-4PM. **UPDATE MONDAY 4/27**

Good morning class! 

This is week two of this learning period. All work for 4/20-5/1 is due this FRIDAY 5/1. 

 

Virtual office hours are today from 10:00-11:00 AM on google meetings. See announcements for the code.

Virtual office hours will also be held Wednesday 3:00-4:00 PM.

**UPDATE MONDAY 4/20**

Happy Monday! New work has been distributed via Canvas modules today for all students. This work covers Monday 4/20-Friday 5/1. All work must be submitted to Canvas by 5/1.

Don't forget virtual office hours are being held Mondays 10:00-11:00 AM & Wednesday 3:00-4:00 PM.

**Update WEDNESDAY 4/8**

Happy Wednesday! I have put some virtual office hours in place. You will receive an invitation to a Google meeting via your student email. You are not required to log into these sessions but I encourage you to do so. These virtual office hours will be a time for you to check in, ask questions, and for me to answer any questions or address any questions you may have! My new virtual office hours are Mondays 10:00-11:00 AM and Wednesdays 3:00-4:00 PM.   If you cannot meet during this time but still need my assistance you can send me an email.

Happy Monday class! I hope you are all well! Today we will begin to move on with new content! Please see the new module I have posted with links to everything you will need. Also please view the video in the announcements section for today. If you have any questions or issues accessing please send me an email. I plan to set up weekly virtual office hours beginning this week, where you can log in and we can discuss new material if needed.

Due to technical issues I have made some changes to the way you submit your review. You will submit each document separately under the appropriate assignment link. (The links to submit are found under the assignments tab) Email with any questions you may have.

**UPDATE 3/18/2020:

Ag Apps students I hope this finds you well! Please make sure that you are spending time working on your review & as always I am available via email 8-4 Monday through Friday. haileybatchelor@fcschools.net

I know we were in the middle of our creed projects. Please continue to work on them over the next two weeks. Those of you that chose to recite the creed, I plan for us to resume when we return so please continue studying. 

 

**UPDATE 3/16/2020: I have opened a module for you to work on over the next two weeks (3/16-3/27).  Please read the instructions document and know that this work will be collected when we return (so if you write your answers on paper, save it!) This is a review module of everything we have done so far this year. 

 

I will be available via email Monday-Friday 3/16-2/27 8:00 AM -4:00 PM for any questions you may have. My goal is to set some virtual "office hours" so we can meet via Zoom if needed. More info to come.

Course Overview: This course focuses on integrating biological/physical sciences with technology as related to the environment, natural resources, food production, science, and agribusiness. Topics of instruction include agriculture awareness and literacy, employability skills and introduction to all aspects of the total agricultural industry.
