Current Unit: Ecosystems

  

Week of 5/1/17:  This is benchmark week.  We are taking the ELA benchmark on Monday, May 1st.  We will be taking the math benchmark on Tuesday May 2nd.  We will be taking the Science benchmark on May 5th. We are also completing the hydrosphere unit by taking a unit test Wednesday May 3rd.

Week of 3-21-17:  We are working on Introductions to Bacteria, Fungi, and Viruses.  We will also discuss what a pandemic and an epidemic is. 

 

 

 

 

Week of 1-9-17:  Most of the Week, we are closed due to inclement weather. We are completing our unit on Renewable and Non Renewable Energy and will have a unit Test On Wednesday (1-18-17).

 

Quiz On Friday (1/6): We will have a vocabulary quiz on Renewable and Non-Renewable Resources.  The following are the vocabulary words they will be quizzed on:

 

Renewable resources

Nonrenewable resources

Energy

Natural resources

Conservation

Recycle

Law of Conservation of Energy

 

Week of 1/3: We are completing our unit on conservation of energy and renewable and Non-Renewable Resources.  We will have a unit Test next week.

 

FYI:The Quiz Bowl Team is looking for new members.  Meetings are Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 in Room 201 (Mr. Hagman's room)
