Important Info

For the 3rd 9 weeks in Reading we will be focusing on comparing and contrasting. We are looking a three different versions of The Three Little Pigs and other similar stories with animals. We will mix the text selection between fiction and nonfiction. In our small reading groups we will heavily focus on reading comprehension strategies and writing effective responses to comprehension questions stems to prepare for the End of the Year TRC test. Our aim for that test for students to be at letter J of higher. This means students need to make sure in addition to the work we are doing at school, they need to read and WRITE every night. 

In Math for the 3rd nine weeks we will focus on shape attributes and review the problem areas found in the data gathered from the middle of the year DPI Math Test. I will also pull small groups based on the needs found by the testing data for additional support. 

Weekly Homework: Students should read each day and practice math fact fluency.
