I am here to help you learn.  It is my job to teach.  It is your job to learn.  If we all work together then we can build a positive learning environment!  Please let me know how I can help!

My usual tutoring days are Monday and Wednesday.  However, I am usually available daily

Monday – Thursday!  Please let me know in advance if you plan to stay after school.  If you are not here by 3:10 then I assume you are not attending.

Senior Project / Portfolio

  •  As a senior, you will be required to complete a  senior project.  This project is a requirement for graduation!

  • We will discuss each project and the components of the project in more detail as we get ready to complete the various sections.

  •  All projects and components of each project will include checklists / rubric / deadlines / and grades.

  •  This senior project carries with it a great amount of responsibility; an application of knowledge of skills in reading / writing / language / and speaking; a willingness to work with others in the school and the community; and effective use of time; and a promise to not settle for less than perfection.

  •  The senior project must prove that you have invested time, energy, and academic skill in order to analyze, evaluate, and create meaning to a subject personally developed by the student.

  •  Class time will be allocated for this project.  However, you will need to work on this project outside of class as well.  Use your time wisely!

A note about AI:

We ALL know it is out there!  We ALL know it exists!  We will talk more about this topic as we progress throughout the semester!   We can use AI to help us as well as learn how to use AI responsibly.  However, the expectation is that WE all follow the “rules” when incorporating AI into work, etc.  Again, we will discuss this as we move throughout the semester!

I am looking forward to a great semester!
