Spanish 4 expands the skills acquired in Spanish 3. Specific content includes grammar, vocabulary, reading, speaking, writing, and culture. A this is a higher-level course, students are expected to keep up with the pace o content and reading assignments.

Class Expectations

    •  Behavior: Students are expected to conduct themselves appropriately. Their actions should always reflect our district policies and procedures. Respect-Others, yourself, the teacher, the right of all to learn.
    • Attendance: Arrive on time-You need to be in your seat working on the warm up with before the bell rings.
    • Tardiness: Students are expected to be in the classroom (passed the door frame) when the bell begins to ring. Consequences for being tardy are outlined in the BHS Student Code of Conduct.

    • Communication: The first step in a learning process is to be able to communicate with the teacher. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concern about your grades or material. I will be available for parents or students you can email me at  lienadilone@fcschools.net   or by phone 919-496-3975 ext. 295 during 3rd period (planning period).
    • Canvas: Our class will be using Canvas as the primary mode of assigning and collecting work. Students MUST turn their assignment on Canvas. 
    • Grades: Always check your grades on PowerSchool: Both students and parents need to be able to log in to PowerSchool to keep up with course grades. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
    •  Homework:  Homework assignments are posted on the Homework section on Canvas.
    • All make-up work is the responsibility of the student to get and turn in on time.  
    • Cell phones and other electronic devices are not allow in the classroom.

Who is Sra.   Dilone?

¡Hola! Me llamo Sra. Dilone. Soy profesora de español 1,2,3 & 4.  Yo soy de la República Dominicana. I have been teaching at BHS since 2012. I have a bachelor's degree in Advertising in Universidad APEC in the Dominican Republic. I completed my educator license in  North Carolina State University. 

I am married to a great guy and have three wonderful children. My interest included promote the Spanish language, dancing, baking, and cooking Spanish food. in addition, I am always interested in learning new things.
