Course Description:

The focus in sixth grade science is how Earth and Life Science are composed of systems and subsystems. Specific topics include the Earth's atmosphere, transfer of thermal energy, weather, climate and climate change, cell theory, levels of organization in body systems, traits,  genetics and plant structure.. Third Nine Weeks-  A. Energy Conservation and Transfer

Fourth Nine Weeks- A. Earth Systems, Structures, & Processes

  1. Earth in the Universe

HOMEWORK

All homework is due the next day unless a later due date is given.

Late Assignments/ Missed Work:

Any assignments not received on or before the due date are considered late. In order to receive full credit for any missed assignments, students must have an excusable absence, tardy or early dismissal. It is the responsibility to check with the teacher regarding any late /missed assignments and their due date.

Bathroom Policies:

No bathroom use the first ten minutes of class and the last of ten minutes of class. The only time the restroom should be used is on an emergency basis as students can use the bathroom between classes. Students are to sign out on the clip board and sign back in.
