Course: NC Math 1 (1st & 2nd)

Students will access course information by clicking on Modules.  Students will need their student number and password for NCEdcloud. If you have questions about the student login, please email me.

PARENTS:  Use the following directions to create a Canvas Observer Account

  • Have your student(s) Generate a Pairing Code (this will be different for each student).
  • Go to https://fcschools.instructure.com/login/canvas (bookmark this site so that you can easily access your Observer dashboard for your student(s).
  • Click on Parent of a Canvas User? in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
  • Complete the required information in the window, which will include inputting the student Pairing Code. Multiple students can be added.
  • Go to the Dashboard to see your student(s)' courses.
  • Parents can sign into this account to easily access their student's courses within Canvas.
  • What can parents view as an Observer?

For Students in Quarantine:

  • Directions for accessing material
    • We use Canvas!
      • Username example:  2134567
      • Password example:  Lsch123!
      • If that information is not known, please contact the teacher to get the information or have a password reset.
      • Sign into student device and open Chrome.
      • Click fcschools.net bookmarks in top left corner and select NCEdcloud.
      • Log into NCEdcloud with the student number and password
      • On the Application dashboard, click Canvas.  
      • Canvas will open to the listing of enrolled courses.
  • List of websites that students will use to access instruction while out with login/password information when appropriate.
    • Canvas
    • GoFormative (sign in with Google)
    • DeltaMath (sign in with Google)
    • Desmos (no sign in required)
  • Teacher office hours 
    • Tuesday and Wednesday, 3:00-3:30 pm in Google Meet
    • To access: 
      • Go to https://meet.google.com/
      • Enter the code: caldwelloffice
      • ONLY students will be allowed in the Google Meet so be sure you are logged into your student’s device with their account information to access the Google Meet link.
