American History II Honors - 43055X0 - S1 - Ray Jr. - 1(A)

I am pleased to welcome you back to Franklinton High School and to American History II which is a comprehensive look at our founding principles.  American History II will begin with the life after Reconstruction and will continue until present day. Students will learn the economics behind the founding of our great country and key concepts from the; Settling of the West, WWI, WWII, Civil Rights and much more. American History II is an Honors course therefore; students will be expected to perform at a high level throughout the semester. Because of this we will be need to be focused and begin class with a GREAT ATTITUDE.  I will do everything in my power to make the class informative and entertaining in order for the students to fully succeed in American History II and their remaining years at Franklinton High School.  If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress or just want to see how your child is doing please feel free to contact me at anytime.

       Although, we are not beginning the school year in a traditional since; I would like to reassure you that you will get the best from me and I'm asking for the best from you as well.  Although, we will begin on a virtual setting; I am hopeful that you will take the time and put the effort into grasping "OUR HISTORY."
