Course Description

The purpose of this student-centered program is a continuation after a successful completion of Math 3. Mathematical concepts will include Number and Operations, Algebra, Functions, Geometry and Statistics and Probability.  Students will be modeling real numbers, quantities, seeing structure in expressions, arithmetic with polynomials and Logarithmic expressions, creating equations, interpreting functions, building functions, piecewise functions, matrices,  trigonometry, making inferences and justifying conclusions and conditional probability and the Rules of Probability.

This year, our focus will be on enhancing all students into problem-solving skills.  Students will be encouraged to explore math from different perspective.  The most important skills you will need to be successful in this class are perseverance and a positive growth mindset.
