During this part of the nine weeks, students will read many examples of fiction and nonfiction passages. Students will learn about story elements (characters, setting, plot, and theme), sequence of events, drawing conclusions, and main idea/supporting details.
Social Studies:
During this nine weeks, the students will learn about the history of North Carolina.

* Progress Reports will be emailed each week.
*Please have students underline key words in the questions and clues within the reading passage (when applicable) when doing reading comprehension assignments!!!
*Please have students (when applicable) answer questions in complete sentences!!!
