Google Hangout Meetings: Every school day beginning at 8:30 a.m. we will be meeting on Google Hangouts for live lessons. (Mrs. Macholl will e-mail you with our unique Google Classroom code and hangouts link to ensure security). We will meet daily in the following subjects: Fundations, (phonics), ELA, Math, Science/ Social Studies and intervention time through i-Ready. Meetings will include daily phonics drills and mini-lessons, interactive read-alouds, morning meeting /calendar time, daily phonological awareness lessons, our daily math meeting /drills and mini-lesson. Students will have 30 minutes at the end of each whole group lesson to practice the skill taught that day individually. Also during that 30 min. of asynchronous learning time, I will working with small groups or individual students on remediation, practice, or enrichment activities and guided reading groups. I will have office hours each day from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. where I will be able to answer parent e-mails, phone calls, or set up video conferences. I look forward to seeing your children’s smiling faces each morning through Google Hangouts since we can't be together in school!
