Course Description:   Students will understand and be able to categorize interests, attitudes, values, personality, learning styles, and skills. Through categorization, examples, and listings students will identify and understand personal qualities that make them unique individuals.    Students will understand and make the connection between their interests, values, and personality and career choices.  Students will begin matching careers to who they are.  Students will understand the world of work, skills needed to be successful employees, how to search and make a career plan for employment. Students will understand resources to seek employment and how to apply and make a plan for employment.(Copyright, DPI-BE 6158 )

  • Earbuds
  • pen/pencil

Grading Percentages:

  • Formative (Classwork, warm-ups) 40%
  • Summative (Test)                60%

 

Class Rules: 

  • Be in your assigned seat and working on the assigned work when you come in.
  • Bring all materials to class and take them with you when leave.
  • Treat each person in this room with dignity and respect.
  • Follow direction the first time they are given.
  • Follow all procedures and policies as outlined in Bunn middle school and Franklin County schools handbook.
