COURSE DESCRIPTION

Art Specialization/Studio Art is offered for students interested in pursuing a career in visual art.  The course emphasizes a high quality required for college art.  Students will be encouraged to develop areas where their skills are weakest.  Students will discuss with the teacher their thematic interests and use those in developing their portfolios and preparing for a career in art.  Successful work will be photographed throughout the semester for placement in their polished online portfolios.
