Avoid the Summer Slide! READ!

Please continue to have your child read for 20 minutes a day over the summer. Students leave school in June full of strategies for reading and making great literacy STRIDES. Sometimes the change in schedule and routine of less reading over the summer brings forth a decrease in student’s reading level in August. Encourage students to read something each day.
