What is Literacy?:

Literacy is part of the specials rotation that every class comes to once a week. We enjoy stories, writing, and technology activities.

Virtual Office hours:

Email or leave me a message on Google Classroom. I will respond as soon as possible, typically between 8am-4pm.

Achieve 3,000

3rd-5th Grade

* This is a computer program that contains nonfiction articles on each child's reading level along with a quiz and writing component. The students work on this program in their classroom, the computer lab, Literacy class, and can also work on it at home. 

* By the end of the year, 3rd-5th grade students should have passed a minimum of 40 Achieve 3,000 articles, with a target goal of passing 80 articles. A passing score is 75% or higher (6 out of 8 questions correct on their quiz). 

* To access the program: Go to clever.com and have your child sign in. Their username and password is their school id number.

* This is a computer program for K-2nd grade students. It contains skills and activities on their reading level to increase their reading proficiency.
